Crews responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 8 and Branchton Road just before 11 a.m. Thursday.

According to dispatchers, all passengers were out of their vehicles when emergency crews arrived. There was one reported injury.

State police responded alongside Slippery Rock firefighters and EMTs, who cleared the scene after about 40 minutes.

This is the third accident at the intersection in the past month, including a fatal wreck April 5 that claimed the life of a local woman.

Some township residents have been vocal about the intersection, saying it is hazardous.
