Sandra Judith Beatty

Sandra Judith Beatty, 68, of Coburg, Ore., passed away peacefully on Jan. 17 with her family at her bedside.

Sandy was born in Butler to the late Lewis and Nell Stefura Nagy.

She was a graduate of Butler High School and Gordon Phillips School of Cosmetology.

She worked at various salons throughout Butler before moving to Slippery Rock, where she started a career in banking and where she met her husband of 37 years.

She eventually relocated to Eugene, Ore., where she became a manager for J.C. Penney Hair Salon.

She lived her life with incredible grace, selfless love and natural radiance. Family and friends were the center of her life, with her granddaughter being her biggest pride and joy.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; her son and his wife, Jay and Sarah Fennick of Eugene, Ore.; her granddaughter, Shayla; her sister, Louise Guntrum of Florida; her mother-in-law, Naomi Beatty of Prospect; her sister-in-law, Kathy Mulneix of Butler, and her brother-in-law, Robert Beatty of Red Lion. Sandy is also survived by a number of very special nieces and nephews.
