Dora V. Dompka

Dora V. Ritzert Dompka passed away peacefully Sunday.

Born and raised in Chicora, she received her registered nursing degree from the Butler Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert James Dompka; son, Regis (Elaine) of North Carolina; son, Robert Von (Leslie) of Texas; daughter, Victoria (Adam) Markham of Connecticut; daughter, Rhea (Dr. Pedro) Villanueva of Virginia; and the pride and ever joy of their lives the grandchildren, Clara, Rafael, Gabriel, Tessa, twins Eric and Emily, twins Christopher and Kevin, and Alec.

She is survived by sisters, Rose DeCorte of Virginia, Eileen Croft of Pittsburgh and Elisabeth Sidoris of Cranberry Township; a brother, Vincent (Pearl) Ritzert of Pennsylvania; and a host of nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Russell and Nid.

Of a giving and supportive nature, Dora was devoted to her family, her church and to the lives of friends and others.

<B>DOMPKA</B> — A visitation for Dora V. Dompka, who died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 15663 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, Md., contiguous to Leisure World of Maryland, with the Mass of Christian burial at noon. Interment will be private.Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
