Vivian M. Wittik
Vivian M. Wittik, 77, of Butler passed away Wednesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Born Aug. 28, 1938, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (DiBiccaro) DiTullio.
She was a member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lyndora. She was a homemaker.
She had previously worked as a beautician for a private salon and for the Butler Eagle. She provided private child care from her home for many years.
She attended Butler Catholic and was a 1956 graduate of Butler High School. Following high school, she was a graduate of Butler Beauty School.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Catherine Wittik of Imperial; her granddog, “Roxy”; her nieces and nephews, Karen, JoAnn, Scott, Mary Christina, Gus, Jeff and LouAnn; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; her sister-in-law, Ginger DiTullio; and her cousin, Phyllis Nastasi, both of Butler.
She also is survived by her adopted family, the Summervilles, especially her adopted sister, Erma; her special adopted little girl, Natalie; and numerous cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wittik, who passed away Dec. 24, 1982; two brothers; his sister; and his great-nephew.
WITTIK — Friends of Vivian M. Wittik, who died Wednesday, April 13, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N.
