Henry C. Moretti
Henry C. Moretti, 39, of Summit Township, formerly of West Deer, passed peacefully Tuesday surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 16, 1971, in Pittsburgh, Henry grew up in West Deer, graduating from Deer Lakes High School in 1989.
He served in the US Air Force as an airman first class during Desert Storm, working as an aircraft mechanic. Upon returning home, he served in the Pennsylvania National Guard.
Henry worked as a mechanic for the Port Authority, working at the East Liberty Garage, and he was a member of the Amalgamated Transit Workers Union.
He was a member of the Jefferson Center United Presbyterian Church, Saxonburg.
Henry's love was his wife, daughter and family, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of five years, Shannon M. (Painter) Moretti; his daughter, Ella A. Moretti; his parents, Henry “Mokey” and Mary Ann (Hackett) Moretti of West Deer; his sister, Helen Wylie of Pittsburgh; and his brother, Mark A. Moretti of Pembrooke Pines, Fla. He also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Emily Marie Moretti, in 2008.

Moretti, who died Tuesday, March 8, 2011, will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the <B>SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME</B>, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township, where services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. with his pastor, the Rev. Toby Brown, officiating.
