The Zelienople High School Class of 1958 met recently in Zelienople for its 63rd class reunion.

Attendees came from Alabama and Maryland.

Out of the 70 class members who graduated, 33 are deceased.

Plans are being made for the 65th reunion in 2023.

Lions Bruce Wood and Joyce Sanders, both on the board of directors of NAMI Butler, and Lions President Bob Ogden hosted Donna Lamison, the executive director of NAMI Butler County, at a Butler Lions Club meeting earlier this month.Lamison's talk centered on the services offered by the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the largest grassroots organization in the United States dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by mental illness.Currently, NAMI Butler County has five support groups meeting each month and conducts family to family education classes in the fall and spring.For more information, visit www.namibutler.org.
