And, according to a resident’s report, a portion of Herman Road had flooded in the afternoon.

The National Weather Service issued a flood watch that was in effect from 2 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Saturday. The forecast called for as much as 1-1/4 inches of rainfall and gusty winds through Saturday afternoon.

No power outages were reported in the county as of 5 p.m.
