Alaina Marie Carlantonio, 6-month-old daughter of Richard Dominic and Laura Ann Tichy Carlantonio of Slippery Rock, died at 7 a.m. Thursday at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born in Butler, July 22, 2007.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Natalie Paige Carlantonio at home; her maternal grandmother, Christy Tichy of Slippery Rock; her maternal grandfather, Charles (and Natasha) Tichy of Pittsburgh; her paternal grandparents, Richard and Sandra Carlantonio of Boyers; aunts and uncles, Andrea and Mark Parenti and children, James and Katie, of Hilliards, Cyndi and Richie DiBiase and children, Zach and Rachael, of Boyers, Samantha and Paul Carlantonio and their child, Emma, of Boyers and Jacki Carlantonio of Butler; and several great-aunts and great-uncles.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, two great-aunts and a great-uncle.

<B>CARLANTONIO </B>— Friends of Alaina Marie Carlantonio, who died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, will be received from noon until the 2 p.m. service at Slippery Rock United Methodist Church, 321 Franklin St., Slippery Rock. The Rev. Pam Gardner will officiate.
