Bernice Augustine

Bernice "Brownie" Augustine, 96, of Ambridge died Tuesday.

Brownie was a former member at St. Stanislaus Church and was a Christian Mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Augustine; and her siblings, Helen Kubinski, Lucille Murry, Jessie Druzisky and Chester, Ed and Theodore Stoloski.

She was the loving mother of Frances Conlon of Butler, Janet (Rudy) Ochaba of Butler and Alice (John) Richmond of Franklin Park; grandmother of Ray Conlon, Richard Conlon, Cheryl Schubert, Michele Stephens, Jeff Richmond, Janet Day and John Richmond; and great-grandmother of 12. She was the sister of Irene Furman of Bridgewater and Stella Chaykowsky of Conway.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Vincentian Home.

<B>AUGUSTINE </B>— Friends of Bernice "Brownie" Augustine, who died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the <B>KASPER-HAHN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICE</B>, 547 Eighth St., Ambridge. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Good Samaritan Church. Burial will be at the Good Samaritan Cemetery.The Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild will pray the rosary at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.The family requests memorial contributions to Vincentian Home, 111 Perrymont Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
