Carol G. Feevey

Carol G. Feevey, 74, formerly of the Chapmanville area, died peacefully at 8:36 a.m. Wednesday at Shippensburg Health Care Center, where she had lived since October 2011.

She was born Sept. 6, 1937, in Harmony, a daughter of the late Edward J. Ziegler and Mildred Schott Ziegler. She graduated from Harmony High School in 1955.

Carol and her husband, Theodore (Ted) Feevey Jr., farmed in the Chapmanville area, Venango County. Mr. Feevey died Dec. 31, 2000. She enjoyed reading.

Her survivors include a daughter, Cristi Kirkwood and her husband, Richard, of Newville; a son, David Feevey and his wife, Michelle, of Titusville; three grandchildren, Alexa Kirkwood, Heather Kirkwood and Ishmael Kirkwood, all of Newville; a sister, Mary Ann Grech and her husband, Thomas, of Harmony; three brothers, William Ziegler and his wife, Esther, of Evans City, Robert Ziegler and his wife, Debbie, of Harmony and John Ziegler and his wife, Stephanie, of Harmony; and several nieces and nephews.

FEEVEY — Relatives and friends of Carol G. Feevey, who died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, will be received at

Leo N. Hennes Funeral Home, 203 E. Main St., Titusville from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. with Pastor Glen VanCise of the Chapmanville Community Church, officiating. Interment will be in Chapmanville Cemetery.The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 602, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.Condolences for the family can be sent to hennesfuneralhome.com.
