Simms shines as part of relay unit
RICHMOND, Va. — Butler graduate Liz Simms ran the first leg of Davidson College’s 3,200-meter relay at the Atlantic 10 outdoor championship meet Sunday at Virginia Commonwealth University.
The relay team placed second in the conference. Simms along with teammates Kelsey troutman, Maliyah Paynter and Breila Fuller finished the race in 9 minutes, 10.41 seconds.
