Miriam 'Joyce' McCall
Miriam "Joyce" McCall, 76, of Butler died at 10:10 p.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Born on Aug. 16, 1930, in East Brady, she was the daughter of Clarence and Lula Mock Jones.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband to NASCAR races and loved cooking and watching the cooking channel.
She is survived by one daughter; Mrs. Donald (Nancy) L. Christy of Butler; two sons, Renwick Brewster of New Jersey and Drew Brewster of Houston, Pa.; a step-daughter, Debra McCall of Long Island, N.Y.; three granddaughters, Heidi Geroff of Butler, with whom she made her home, Leah Brewster of Florida, and Carly Brewster of Houston, Pa.; and two grandsons, Cullen Brewster, serving in the military, and Adrian McCall of Long Island.
She is also survived by her English Springer Spaniels, Layla and Roberta, who were her companions.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert McCall, who died Jan. 8, 2002; two sisters and a brother.
