FORWARD TWP — Four people were transported following a Friday night crash at the intersection of Evans City and Brownsdale roads.

Two were transported by helicopter and another two were transported by ambulance as a result of the crash, which happened around 10 p.m., according to dispatchers.

The first helicopter was observed taking off just after 10:30 p.m., and the second arrived afterward, landing at 10:36 p.m.

The initial call came in as a “vehicle on fire with entrapment,” according to dispatch.

A portion of Evan City Road was closed to traffic following the crash.

Evans City, Callery, Harmony and Adams Area fire departments responded to the scene. State police are investigating the crash.
