Patricia Quinn

Patricia A. “Pat” Quinn passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022.

She was born Feb. 24, 1935, in Pittsburgh, and currently lived in Valencia, after residing with her family in Ohio Township, Pa., for many years.

Pat worked for the Avonworth School District, ending her long career as administrative assistant to the district superintendent.

Pat’s social calendar was always full. She was very involved with community women’s clubs as a member and officer, in both Ohio Township and then in Mars. Before becoming ill, Pat was an active member of St. Kilian Church. She volunteered for many church and community events. Pat truly valued her time with friends, working on various committees together. She especially enjoyed playing mahjong.

Most important to Pat was time she spent with her family. She especially treasured family holidays and loved celebration gatherings. She was so very proud of the accomplishments of her children and their families, and was always supportive of the endeavors of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pat’s legacy of compassion, as well as the strength and love of family will continue with her children, Diane Michele (Craig) Shaffer of Zelienople, Michael John Quinn of Uniontown, Daniel Hoagy (Kim) Quinn of Conway, and John Brian (Annette) Quinn of Mars; her grandchildren, Matthew, Layne, Kaleen, Shane, Justin, Jonathan, Karina and Liam; and her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Owen, Cameron and Lilah.

Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, John “Jack” Quinn.

QUINN — In accordance with her wishes, a Mass of Christian burial for Patricia A. “Pat” Quinn, who died Saturday, May 14, 2022, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Township. Family and friends will be received at the church beginning at 10:15 a.m.

Interment will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of SCHELLHAAS & SONS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, Franklin Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that a living memorial be planted in Pat’s honor, or donations can be made to Miracle League of Pennsylvania’s Laurel Highlands at www.mlplh.org.
