Helen D. Brueckman

Helen D. Brueckman, 74, of Evans City died Wednesday at the Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.

Born June 13, 1935, in Murrysville, she was the daughter of the late George S. and Margaret (Staut) Earll.

Mrs. Brueckman was a member of the Crestview Community Church in Callery.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing and bowling. Mrs. Brueckman loved playing the slot machines; her horse, Detroit Bret and harness racing and especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald H. "Pete" Brueckman, who she married April 1, 1977; two sons, Ronald Brueckman and John Daw and his wife, Cheryl; five daughters, Ruth Craddock and her husband, Kevin, Sandy Scheller and her husband, Richard, Deborah Heath, Claudia B. Ripper and her husband, Robert, and Marjorie Brueckman; 10 grandchildren, Sara, Brendan, Adam, Dylan, Christan, Carrie, Jamie, Wade, Dean and Rachel; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James E. Daw; a son, James E. Daw Jr.; and her brother, George Earll.

<B>BRUECKMAN </B>— Friends of Helen D. Brueckman, who died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 116 E. Main St., Evans City, where funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be private.Memorial donations may be made to Crestview Community Church, 210 Kline Avenue/P.O.
