Marion E. Stewart, 82, of Evans City died Wednesday at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born March 21, 1924, in Zeli-enople, she was the daughter of James and Bessie G. Piper Brophy.

Mrs. Stewart was a member of St. Peter"s Lutheran Church, Evans City.

She worked closely with her husband in the family business, Joseph M. Stewart Plumbing & Heating.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph M. Stewart Sr., whom she married April 5, 1947; two sons, Joseph Milton Stewart Jr. and his wife, Mary and Larry Stewart, all of Evans City; two grandchildren, Gregg Stewart and his wife, Heather, of Butler and Brandie Fleeger and her husband, Gary, of Renfrew; two great-grandchildren, Audrey Rose and Gracelyn Renee Fleeger; and two step-grandchildren, Michael McCandless of Butler and Steven McCandless of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne E. Stewart; a brother, Jack; and a sister, Beulah.

<B>STEWART</B> — Friends of Marion E. Stewart, who died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 116 E. Main Street, Evans City.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
