Pribis

U.S. Navy Midshipman Matthew Pribis recently became a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Membership is by invitation and based on GPA and class standing.

Pribis also received a Professor of Naval Science Silver Achievement Award.

Pribis has finished his freshman year with Hampton Roads Naval ROTC at Old Dominion University in Virginia. He is a 2011 graduate of Butler High School and the son of Rich and Mary Pribis of Butler.

U.S. Navy Seaman Purrie Graham recently completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

She is the daughter of Jennifer J. and stepdaughter of Keith A. Schnittker of Butler. Graham is a 2008 graduate of Butler High School.

U.S. Army Pvt. Brian Wiley graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Wiley is the son of Lisa Miskow of McClellan Drive, Butler. He is a 2007 graduate of Butler Senior High School.

Anthony King received this year’s ROTC Medal from the General Richard Butler Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) at their military ball.

Anthony is a junior at Butler High School. He is the son of Ruth and Jason Bester of Butler.

U.S. Air Force Reserve Airman Jacob Johnston graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Johnston earned distinction as an honor graduate.

The airman is a 2009 graduate of Slippery Rock High School. He is the son of Cindy Johnston of Centreville Pike, Slippery Rock.
