Elizabeth Theresa "Liz" Pallone, 77, passed away Friday in Munster, Ind.

Liz was born April 7, 1933, in Zelienople, where she was raised.

Following a marriage in 1954, Liz became a longtime resident of Brighton Township and Beaver, where she raised her five children. In 1985, Liz moved to the San Francisco Bay area to live near her son.

She fell in love with the California sunshine and remained in the region, working in various administrative positions at several Silicon Valley technology companies until her retirement.

Liz subsequently moved to northern Indiana to be near her daughter.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Raymond Gibson of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister-in-law, Margaret Boros of Zelienople; daughters, Dr. Jennifer Pallone of Munster, Ind., and Brenda Pallone of Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Janine and Steven Burkett of St. Louis; sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Tom and Karen Pallone of Baltimore, and Mark and Debra Pallone of Morristown, N.J.; and her 11 grandchildren.

Liz was preceded in death by her father and mother, Stephan and Elizabeth Theresa Boros; and her brothers, Mike, Frank, Willie, Joe and John.

<B>PALLONE</B> — Friends of Elizabeth Theresa "Liz" Pallone, who died Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, 724-452-8005. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 West Beaver St., Zelienople. Interment will follow at the St. Gregory Cemetery.The family requests that memorial contributions be made, if desired, to the Alzheimer's Association-Greater New Jersey Chapter at www.alz.org/nj.Online condolences and directions are available at www.boylanfuneralhome.com.
