Anthony Moore

Air Force Staff Sgt.

Anthony Moore, serving with the 732 Expeditionary Security Forces, Detachment 3, at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, was awarded the Bronze Star Metal with Valor Device for actions taken while rescuing soldiers while deployed at Camp Taji, Iraq. Moore has been deployed twice to Iraq and twice to other Persian Gulf countries since joining the Air Force in June 2005.The 2003 Butler High School graduate is the son of Jerry and Barb Moore of Butler.———Navy Seaman Recruit

William Milbert Jr., son of Andrea Hirth of Butler and William E. Milbert, of Butler, completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Milbert is a 2006 graduate of Butler High School.———Army Spec.

Valerie Duncan graduated from basic training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. Duncan graduated in 1995 from Butler High School and received a bachelor's degree in 2000 from Slippery Rock University.
