Brenda Sue (Ball) Velasquez
Brenda Sue (Ball) Velasquez, 54, of Butler went to be with our Lord on Sunday, on the birthday of her deceased brother, Chuckie, at the VNA Inpatient Hospice. May they now be reunited together forever.
She was born Aug. 29, 1956, in Butler, the daughter of Earnest “Bob” and Violet “Vi” (Szkult) Ball of Butler.
Brenda passed after a two-year battle with cancer.
We will always remember her smile and her love of music, but mostly her love for her son, Eric; her grandchildren, Davian and Alexis; and her most special friend, her mother.
Along with her parents, Brenda is survived by a son, Eric Velasquez of Butler; two grandchildren, Davian and Alexis Velasquez of Butler; two sisters, Kathleen “Kathye” (Ball) Parkin and her husband, Dick, of Ebensburg and Tammy (Ball) Gutierrez and her husband, Gerardo, of Butler; two brothers, Earnest “Bob” Ball and Richard “Rick” Ball, both of Butler; nephews, Michael “Mike” Guidotti, his wife, Shannon, and children, Kirk, Jarod and Layne and Jerry and Corey Guitierrez, all of Butler; and nieces, Lena Guidotti of Ebensburg, Jodi Vargas and her husband, Ramon, and children, Christian and Dana of California, and Traci Voci and her husband, Alket, and children, Torrie and Paige Bish of Butler. A special thanks and prayers to Aunt Donna Cook, cousins, Lori and Joe Drobney and sons, Damion and Adam, Rene Ball and daughter, Kelsey, and special friend Patty Miller who God sent to her in a special way.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas “Chuckie” Ball; her grandparents, Earnest Ball and Kathryne (Ball) Miano and Ignatz Szkult and Catherine (Czzowitz) Szkult; aunts, Mazie and Dorothy Ball; and an uncle, Edward Ball and his wife, Adel Ball.
