David W. 'Kris' Kristophel
David W. “Kris” Kristophel, 83, of Hobart, Ind., passed away Sunday.
David was born in Harmony, July 14, 1928. In 1946, he graduated from Zelienople High School.
He served in the U.S. Army Artillery during the Korean War. He was employed at Johnson & Johnson for 30 years. He was a member of the St. Stephen Episcopal Church in Hobart. David and his wife, Rachel, spent more than 33 years in Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rachel (Julian) of Hobart; his brother, Donald (Hilda) Kristophel of Zelienople; and a host of loving family and dear friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Nellie (Bame) Kristophel.
