Annette T. Sudano
Mrs. Annette T. Sudano, 76, of Perry Highway, Portersville, passed away at 9:45 p.m. Saturday in the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Cabot.
Mrs. Sudano was born on Jan. 6, 1936, in Ellwood City, to the late Crawford Stubbel and Anna Hoffman Stubbel.
She was a member of the Lincoln High School Class of 1952, and graduated from the St. Frances School of Nursing in New Castle as a registered nurse. She worked at the St. Frances Hospital in New Castle and the Ellwood City Hospital as a nurse for many years. She also worked as the Ellwood City Catholic School Nurse for several years.
Annette was a Muddy Creek Township supervisor and secretary for 15 years, and served on the Muddy Creek Township Planning Commission for several years.
She taught CCD at the St. Agatha Church while living in Ellwood City. Annette enjoyed playing the piano, antiques and going to garage sales. She is a past member of the Hungarian Club and was a volunteer for many years at the Portersville Food Pantry.
Mrs. Sudano is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda (Scott) Wellhausen of Florida; two sons and daughters-in law, Ross (Lynn) Sudano of Portersville and John M. (Linda) Sudano Jr. of Sarver; six grandchildren; one brother, Paul (Jane) Stubbel of New Galilee; and a special friend, Russel Fair.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John M. Sudano Sr., who she married on Nov. 21, 1964, and who passed away on Oct. 15, 1986.
SUDANO — Visitation for Mrs. Annette T. Sudano, who passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Ellwood City.A blessing service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Father Mark Thomas officiating.
