Stella Rose Lominski

Stella Rose Lominski, 93, of Petrolia passed away at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday at Orchard Manor in Grove City.

Stella was born Aug. 29, 1924, in Ferris, Venango Township, Butler County. She was the daughter of Joseph Krajewski and Anna (Kloda) Krajewski.

Stella was a member of St. Alphonsus Parish.

She held many jobs, including working in the maintenance department at Karns City High School, manpower at the YMCA and for Fairview Township.

Stella was a member of the North Washington VFD Ladies Auxillary for more than 56 years.

Stella is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Patricia (Darold) Pitzer of Channahon, Ill., and Mrs. Joanna (Frank) Kupniewski of Erie; two sons, John J. (Donna) Lominski of Hilliards and Frank A. Lominski of Boyers; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Mary Luchkiw of Petrolia, and one brother, Teddie Krajewski of Parker.

In addition to her parents, Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Lominski, who died Jan. 23, 1981; two brothers and one sister.

LOMINSKI — Friends of Stella Rose Lominski, who died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Louis Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Friday with Father James Bedillion of St. Alphonsus Parish officiating.Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.If desired, online condolences may be submitted at www.williamfyoungfh.com.
