Walter Leroy Ruediger

Walter Leroy Ruediger, 78, of Sarver died Sunday at his home.

Born March 21, 1929, in Sarver, he was the son of Walter S. and Sarah Miller Ruediger.

He worked for T.W. Phillips Gas and Oil Co., retiring in 1987.

He was a member of the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company and the Order of the Owls in Russellton.

He enjoyed hunting and going to his camp.

Surviving are three sons, Thomas (Peggy) Ruediger of Sarver, James (Sue) Ruediger of Sarver and Robert Ruediger Sr. of Sarver; two daughters, Nancy Ruediger of Sarver and Linda Ruediger of Freemont, Ind.; his sister-in-law, Rose Ruediger of Sarver; two grandchildren, Blake Beeman and Robert Ruediger Jr.; and two step-grandchildren, Jennifer Balsiger and Melissa Balsiger.

Preceding him in death were a brother, Ed "Red" Ruediger, and a sister, Florence Ruediger.

<B>RUEDIGER</B>— Friends of Walter Leroy Ruediger, who died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
