Police said officers Cheryl Litz and Kory Fleming went to Harvey’s home about 4 p.m. Jan. 15. But he became angry and ran out the back door, according to court documents. The officers chased him through a yard and over two fences.
Litz fell into the side of a house while trying to stop Harvey. Police noted that in his attempted getaway down Fifth Street he came close to oncoming traffic. Fleming also slipped and fell on the snow-covered road and sidewalk during the chase.
Police eventually caught Harvey, who is charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
