Tosi

Ruth Sarah Chiappini Tosi, 86, of Oneida Valley Road died at 4:40 a.m. Wed-nesday at Sunnyview Home.

Born Oct. 15, 1921, in Butler, she was the daughter of William G. Ekis and Sarah Ekis Piper.

Mrs. Tosi was a buyer of sportswear for A.E. Troutman Co., retiring in July 1983. She was a member of the Hill United Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed housekeeping and baking.

Mrs. Tosi is survived by her second husband, Attilio "Leo" Tosi, whom she married Aug. 23, 1978; two sons and their wives, William and Marsha Chiappini of Butler and Raymond and Sandra Chiappini of Chicora; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs.Tosi was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Chiappini, and by a sister, Dorothy Coulter.

<B>TOSI</B> — Friends of Ruth Sarah Chiappini Tosi, who died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., with the Rev. Clark Sawyer of Hill United Presbyterian Church officiating.
