Man injured in ATV crash in Lancaster Twp.
A medical helicopter was called Sunday to the Lancaster Township area for an ATV crash.
Butler County 911 dispatched multiple departments around 4:30 p.m. to the intersection of Stonechurch Road and Flinner Lane. Dispatchers said a caller reported a man had been thrown from an ATV and was still on the ground.
As firefighters arrived on the scene, they found a man lying on the berm of the road. They said he was conscious but had suffered head and leg injuries.
Firefighters called for the medical helicopter which landed in a field close to the scene.
Lancaster Township police were also called to the scene.
Units returned to service around 5:30 p.m.
Harmony and Prospect-Franklin Township fire departments assisted at the scene along with Harmony EMS.
