Frances C. McCarren Krall, 94, of Myerstown, Pa., passed away Friday, June 17, 2022, in Stoneridge Poplar Run in Myerstown.

She was the wife of the late John Henry Krall.

She was born on Jan. 4, 1928, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Joseph V. and Frances Caulfield McCarren.

Frances was employed as a nurse at Cedar Haven in Lebanon, Pa., for more than 20 years.

She was a member of Mary Gate of Heaven in Myerstown.

Frances was involved with the Boy Scouts and served as a den mother for their troop in Myerstown, and also was past president of Farm Women Group 2.

She enjoyed traveling and working in her garden.

Surviving are her sons, Thomas J. Krall and his wife, Deborah, of Exton, Pa., and Philip L. Krall and his wife, Carlyn, of Schaefferstown, Pa.; her grandchildren, Amanda Sherman, Michael J. Krall, Daniel T. Krall, Rebecca Krall, Ethan J. Krall and Lauren E. Krall; and her great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Charlotte, Mia, Joshua and John.

She was preceded in death by a son, Brian J. Krall; a brother, Joseph V. McCarren Jr.; and a sister, Nell M. Smith.

KRALL — A Mass of Christian burial for Frances C. McCarren Krall, who died Friday, June 17, 2022, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday in Mary Gate of Heaven, 188 McKinley Ave., Myerstown, Pa.

Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in CLAUSER FUNERAL HOME, 116 N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown, Pa., and from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Interment will be made in Mount Hope Cemetery.
