Driver crashes into 2 parked cars

After a Wednesday morning crash in Butler, one driver was taken away from the scene in the back of a police cruiser.

Butler County 911 dispatched emergency crews at 7:51 a.m. to the 900 block of Jefferson Street in Butler, for a vehicle crash involving parked cars.

According to firefighters, a woman driving a GMC Sierra was the lone occupant of the vehicle, and she hit two cars parked along the road.

The same woman was later seen entering the back seat of a Butler Township police car.

Upon their arrival, firefighters immediately closed both lanes of travel while police investigated and debris was cleared.

The road was reopened around 9 a.m.
