Keith Emery
Keith Emery, 78, of Butler passed away Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
He was born Feb. 13, 1931, in North Washington, the son of the late Arthur C. Emery Sr. and Olive (Gibson) Emery.
Donald was a veteran of the Navy, having served in the Korean War. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 117 and the Roman Catholic Men's Club in Herman.
He enjoyed camping on the Allegheny River, photography and cooking.
He retired from Magnetics after 38 years.
Surviving are four sisters, Joan Everett of Warren, Ohio, Janice Gerner of Butler, Joyce McIlvain of Butler and Brenda Million of Butler; two brothers, Arthur Emery Jr. of Stuart, Fla., and Dale and Judy Emery of Herman; a number of nieces and nephews; and his favorite dogs, Coco and Katie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Francis Emery.
<B>EMERY</B> — Friends of Keith Emery, who died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Chaplain Paul of the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia officiating.
