Clinton C. Rader, 83, of Connoquenessing went to be with his Lord Tuesday morning surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Marion Township, Beaver County, Jan. 17, 1924, he was the son of Walter A. and Elsie Householder Rader.

He was a 60-year member of the White Oak Springs United Presbyterian Church, Renfrew, where he also was a trustee.

Mr. Rader graduated from Zelienople High School in 1942. He spent his life as a dairy farmer and with his family won the Eagle Bowl at the 1962 Butler Farm Show.

After he retired from Spang & Co., he enjoyed the monthly get-togethers with the Spang Breakfast Boys.

Surviving are his wife, Evelyn M. Gilliland Rader, to whom he was married for 62 years; a son and his wife, Harold and Barbara Rader of Connoquenessing; three daughters and their husbands, Karen and Mike Lyons of West Sunbury and Myrna and Tom Robson and Debbie and Ron Schettler, all of Connoquenessing; and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Layton, of the Lowrie House.

He also is survived by 12 grandchildren, Lona (Steve) Peters, Harold Rader Jr, Sharon (Jarod) Brown, John A. and Elaina Rader, Tammy Simmons, Dale (Jennifer) Lyons, Jeff (Debra) Lyons, Mandy (Nathan) Reimer, Angie Robson and Adam and Melissa Schettler; and eight great-grandchildren, Robin and Brooklyn Peters, Amelia and Cody Brown, Shelby Rader, Shanna Simmons and Cole and Ben Lyons,

He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Smith.

<B>RADER</B> — Friends of Clinton C. Rader, who died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, 318 W. Main St., Evans City.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the White Oak Spring United Presbyterian Church with the Rev.
