Mary E. Bonyak Hudak
Mary E. Bonyak Hudak, 97, of Sun Lakes, Ariz., formerly of Butler, died Saturday at the Chandler Health Center in Chandler, Ariz.
Born in Bessemer Terrace, Allegheny County, May 31, 1908, she was a daughter of Joseph and Maria Bodnar Stelbotsky.
Mrs. Hudak was a homemaker and also had been a horticulturist at several Butler area plant nurseries for years.
She had been living in Arizona with her son for the past 18 years.
Surviving are two sons, Vincent E. Bonyak of Butler and Ronald Bouchat of Sun Lakes; two daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Cheryl) Elderidge and Bernadette Bonyak, both of Butler; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Her first husband, Andrew Bonyak Sr., died in 1970; and her second husband, Stephen G. Hudak, died Oct. 15, 1979. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Laurence and Meredith "Mike" Bonyak. Four brothers and five sisters also preceded her in death.
HUDAK — Friends of Mary E. Bonyak Hudak, who died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N.
