Mary Lou Brinkley, 70, of Shaler Township passed away Wednesday.

She was the wife of John D. Brinkley; mother of Deborah Brinkley and Chad (Tiffany) Brinkley; daughter of the late Ellis and Estella Reitz; sister of Judy Drushel, Loretta Weitzel, Cheryl Mervis and Lori Simpson; and grandmother of Elliott, Ty and Cody.

Mary Lou was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and a former teacher at St. Alphonsus School in Springdale. She was active in the children's programs at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, but her first love was the importance of her family.
