Jean Gable Odem
Jean Gable Odem, 92, of Deltona, Fla., formerly of the Greenfield section of Pittsburgh, died Monday at the LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born in Pittsburgh Jan. 26, 1914, she was the daughter of Irvin P. and Theresa O'Neil Gable.
She was a member of the St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in DeBary, Fla., and was a member of the Military Officer's Association of America Auxillary.
Surviving are three nieces, Susan Brindle Kilgore and husband, Robert, of Prospect, Lorraine Gable Parris and husband, Clifford, of Carlisle, and Virginia Gable Goebel and husband, Paul, of Gibsonia; four nephews, Richard Gable of Zelienople, Irvin Gable and wife, Teri, of Mars, Carl Gable and wife, Debbie, of Beckley, W. Va., and Edward Gable and wife, Rita, of Florida; and many great nieces and nephews.
Also surviving are many great nieces and great nephews.
Mrs. Odem was preceded in death by her husband, Norman H. Odem; a sister, Ruth Cowles; and two brothers, Irvin T. and Edward R. Gable.
<B>ODEM</B> — Friends of Jean Gable Odem, who died Monday, May 29, 2006, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the<B> MCDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A blessing service will follow at 9 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Bober, of St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, officiating.
