Watson

Robert Clair Watson Sr., 83, of Cabot, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Aug. 30, 1938, in Vandergrift, he was the son of the late Harold Watson and Retha Bier Watson.

He worked at Pullman Standard and retired from Allegheny Ludlum. Robert was a member of the NRA. He loved his yard, his tractors, cutting wood and his Ford trucks.

Surviving are his loving wife, Irene Billak Watson, whom he married Oct. 9, 1959; daughter, Jenifer Forester of Cabot; son, Robert (Angela) Watson Jr. of Markle; grandchildren, Erika Watson, Noah Robert Forester and Zander Thomas Forester; and his sister, Sheryl Watson of Vandergrift.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Keith Watson; and two brothers, Jim and Charles Watson.

WATSON — Friends of Robert Clair Watson Sr., who died Tuesday, July 5, 2022, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

A graveside service will be held at noon Saturday at Greenwood Memorial Park, 104 Melwood Road, New Kensington.

Interment will follow.
