Everett A Bevan Jr.

Everett A Bevan Jr., 82, of Cranesville, died Thursday in Sunrise Assisted Living, Indiana Township.

He was born Jan. 5, 1927, in Pittsburgh to the late Everett A. and the late Anna Stengle Bevan.

Mr. Bevan was a truck driver with the Exhibitor Services Co. in McKees Rocks until his retirement.

Mr. Bevan served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, and he was a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by one daughter, Mary Lou Barber of Hampton Township; two sons, Donald B. Bevan of Cranesville and James K. Bevan of West View; two daughters, Patti Giustini of Saxonburg and Diane Yester of Hampton Township; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia J. Bevan, who died Jan. 27, 2006; a sister, Pauline Smith, and a brother, James Bevan.

<B>BEVAN</B> — Visitation for Everett A Bevan, Jr., who died Thursday, June 4, 2009, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Herbert R. King Jr. Funeral Home</B>, 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park. Services will be held Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Dambaugh officiating. Interment with military honors will be in the Allegheny County Memorial Park.
