A riverbank a few miles up the Allegheny River will be fraught with fun and water-themed activities Saturday.

The East Brady Area Riverfest is returning for its 37th year with a one-day event intended as a “celebration of life along the Allegheny River,” according to an event flyer.

The Riverfest will feature food, vendors, live music, contests and other attractions including fireworks. It will take place at Graham’s Field in Clarion County borough.

The event is expected to be scaled back slightly compared to previous years, but organizers hope to get back to the full-scale event next summer.

Activities kick off at noon Saturday with a pig roast and street market at 411 Kellys Way in East Brady. Other attractions at the fest include a pet contest, a beautiful baby contest, raffles, games of chance and a DJ.

The band Rustic Revelation will keep the event going into the evening with a performance from 7 to 10 p.m. A fireworks show will follow at 10 p.m.
