Thanking Carlson

On May 22nd of this year, I attended the Memorial Day ceremony held at the Adams Twp. Memorial Park. The keynote speaker for the ceremony was Mr. Ken Carlson.

Mr. Carlson was a very qualified and appropriate speaker for this occasion. His credentials are as a West Point graduate, an artillery fire base commander in Vietnam, and subsequently worked for both the FBI and the CIA.

He has recently taken some heat due to his Memorial Day speech. Part of his topic was about how the current federal administration is destroying our country. Some people took umbrage to this, saying that a Memorial Day ceremony was not the place for a political speech. I couldn’t disagree more.

First, one would have to be blind not to see what Biden and his handlers are doing to our nation. Either through incompetence or intent, this current administration has done everything possible to destroy America.

Secondly, with Mr. Carlson’s credentials, he knows firsthand what many of us can only guess at.

Thirdly, the veterans who gave their lives for this nation didn’t do so that the rest of us could stand idly by and watch America be destroyed. We owe them the responsibility to at least be aware of the reality of what is going on with our country.

I’d like to thank Mr. Carlson for trying to make people aware of the danger we are all in.

I hope he is invited back again next year.
