Alice R. Kirschler
Alice R. Kirschler, 73, of 190 Spring Run Road died at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday at her home.
Born in West Freedom, July 4, 1931, she was the daughter of Harry and Rhoda Keefer Stewart.
Mrs. Kirschler had worked at Bobbie Brooks on New Castle Road and Mine Safety Appliance in Evans City.
She attended the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church and enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing, square dancing and crocheting.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Eric (Penny) Montgomery, Mrs. Ken (Regina) Callen and Mrs. Thomas (Christine) Hicks, all of Butler; two sons, Johns S. MacGregor of Lorain, Ohio, and Guy A. MacGregor of Warren, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Jason (Beth) Gagen of High Park; a stepson, Robert Callen of Scottdale; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, Mrs. Irene Alworth of West Freedom, Mrs. Betty Williams of Butler and Mrs. Susan Cricks of Sligo; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Kirschler; two brothers; a sister; and a grandchild.
KIRSCHLER - Friends of Alice R. Kirschler, who died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Funeral services will follow at 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev.
