Transit Authority preparing for new bus
A new bus will soon be on its way.
The Butler Transit Authority voted Thursday to have its new MCI coach bus, which will round out its commuter service fleet, inspected by First Transit for $9,245. John Paul, transit authority executive director, said First Transit has performed other bus inspections for the authority.
The bus will go on the assembly line next week, according to Paul, but he said he is not sure when it will be finished yet.
"It would be nice if it was before Sept. 13," Paul said.
