Jack N. Doerr, 79, of Butler, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 22, 1942, in Butler, the son of the late Ralph N. Doerr and the late Linnie A Fitzpatrick Doerr.

Jack graduated from Butler High School in 1961. He was a veteran, having served in the Army for two years and the Army Reserves for four years. Jack worked as a salesman for Marburger Dairy. He was Lutheran by faith. He loved to collect various items such as Santa Clauses and salt and pepper shakers, and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, and vacationing at the beach.

Jack is survived by his wife, Marsha Doerr, whom he married on April 29, 1967; two daughters, Audra Dodgson-Miller, and her husband Mark, and Allison Sawyer-West and her husband Jay; one son, Aaron Doerr, and his wife Hollie Spiece-Doerr; 11 grandchildren, Zac, Hollie, Trevor, Miranda, Brittany, Noah, Dylan, Bailey, Alaina, Autumn and Lily; and two great-grandchildren, Greyson, and Atticus.

DOERR — Per his wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services for Jack N. Doerr, who died Friday, July 22, 2022.

Arrangements were entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 East North St., Butler.
