Mary V. "Gram" Montgomery, 89, of Hilliards passed away at 7:05 a.m. Tuesday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born April 24, 1921, in Alum Rock, Clarion County. She was the daughter of the late Trenna Orville Montgomery and the late Esther Ferringer Montgomery.

She was a member of Hilliards Methodist Church.

She was an avid bingo and card player and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Russell (Doris) Barger of Petrolia/Annisville, Mrs. Jack (Shirley) Kastelic of Butler and Mrs. John (Linda) Raducz of Saxonburg; one daughter-in-law, Erma Montgomery of Hilliards; a number of grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Cliff (Jean) Barger of Eau Claire and Jane Horneman of Waterford, Pa., and several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Montgomery, who passed away April 17, 1973; one son, Paul Montgomery; one sister; and three brothers.

<B>MONTGOMERY</B> — Friends of Mary V. "Gram" Montgomery, who died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Thursday at <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kathleen Soltis, former pastor of Hilliards Methodist Church and a retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Scrubgrass Cemetery, Emlenton.
