Howard D. "Donnie" McKinney, 52, of Cabot, formerly of the Valencia area, died Tuesday afternoon at the ACMH Hospital in Kittanning.

Born April 26, 1955, in Bellevue, he was the son of Jacqueline Morrison of Valencia and the late Howard D. McKinney.

He was a self-employed carpenter.

He is survived by his son, Jason McKinney of New Jersey; a daughter, Erica McKinney of Prospect; a sister, Mrs. Norm (Pamela) Simmons of Valencia; six brothers, Douglas McKinney of Texas, Daniel McKinney of Penn Hills, Dennis McKinney of Russellton, Darian McKinney of Bethel Park, Dirk McKinney of Valencia and David McKinney of Cabot; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl McKinney, who died June 27, 2005.
