Butler man’s threats shut down Wendy’s

A Butler man has been charged with making 10 threatening phone calls that forced a Wendy’s restaurant to close its dining room earlier this month, police said.

A Wendy’s restaurant closed its dining room after receiving threatening phone calls from a Butler man, according to charges filed last week.

Nathan G. Speron, 28, was charged Wednesday with a felony and misdemeanor for terroristic threats and misdemeanor harassment.

From 8 to 8:46 p.m. July 12, state police said Speron made 10 threatening phone calls to the Wendy’s at 122 Clearview Circle in Center Township.
