Barbara R. McCormick Crowe
Mrs. Barbara R. McCormick Crowe at age 76, passed away Wednesday in Butler.
She was born on March 7, 1942, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late John McCormick and the late Melda Crawford McCormick.
Barb graduated from Knoch High School in 1960.
She was a seamstress at Bobbie Brooks before becoming a full-time homemaker.
Barb's hobbies included baking, sewing, puzzles and a “thicc” snappy kosher pickle.
Barb is survived by her sons, Virgil Crowe of Oil City and John Crowe of Pittsburgh; her daughters, Lori Rodgers of Butler and Bobbie Alvanitakis of West Chester, Pa.; her brothers, Edward McCormick and John McCormick; her sisters, Patricia Weber and Linda Miller; and her grandchildren, Patrick Rodgers Jr., Meghan Venditti, Zachary Rodgers, Dylan Crowe and Marissa Crowe.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Crowe; and her sister, Carol Missler.
