Gerald F. Sutton
Gerald F. "Jerry" Sutton, 74, of Kellettville in Forest County, formerly of Evans City, died Wednesday at his home.
Born Oct. 17, 1933, in Conway, he was the son of Orie J. and Roxie Fair Sutton.
He was a Presbyterian.
Mr. Sutton was a Navy veteran and retired as a crane operator at Armco in 1985.
He was a member of Kellettville Sportsman's Club and Evans City American Legion and was a life member of Evans City VFW Post 499.
He is survived by two sons, David Sutton and his wife, Frances, of Louisiana and Michael Sutton and his wife, Connie, of Evans City; two daughters, Edith "Jane" Schrock and her husband, David, of Waynesburg and Mary Kay Knox of Cabot; a brother, William Sutton and his wife, Phyllis, of Bradford Woods; two sisters, Jean Sutton and Dorothy Marburger, both of Evans City; four grandchildren, Gretchen Schrock-Jacobson and her husband, Justin, of State College, Derek Schrock of Waynesburg and Patrick and Nichole Sutton, both of North Carolina; and a great-grandson, Owen Jacobson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Anthony Sutton, who died in 2002; his former wife, Shirley Burton, who died in 1998; a son, Dennis Sutton; and two brothers, John and Chuck Sutton.
<B>SUTTON </B>— A memorial service for Gerald F. "Jerry" Sutton, who died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, will be held 11 a.m. Monday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 116 E. Main St., Evans City, with the Rev. John Park, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Evans City, officiating.
