David Lee Rensel
David Lee Rensel, 71, of the Lowrie House, formerly of Charlon Street, died at 7:55 a.m. Monday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Butler, Nov. 4, 1934, he was the son of Guy G. and Hazel Covert Rensel.
He retired in 1997 from the melt shop at Armco-Butler Works after 41 years.
Mr. Rensel was a Protestant.
He was a life member of the South Butler Fire Company. He enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting and most of all, boating.
His wife, Juanita Riott Rensel, died Sept. 9, 1989.
Surviving are four children and their spouses, David and Cheryl Rensel of Butler, Aaron and Deanna Rensel of Portersville, Sherry and Marty Hohn of Chicora and Susan and Marty Shulik of Butler; and nine grandchildren, Michael Hohn and his wife, Kara, Jared Hohn, Nathan and Nicholas Shulik and Rachael, Ethan, A.J., Eric and Alyssa Rensel; and a great-grandson, Benjamin Hohn. Also surviving is his friend, Charlotte Scholl.
