Clair 'Jeep' Fosbrink

Clair B. "Jeep" Fosbrink, 78, of Mars died Sunday morning at his home.

He was born Aug. 2, 1929, in Canton Ohio, to Charles and Pearl Snyder Fosbrink of Indian Head, Pa.

Mr. Fosbrink served three years in the Army seeing active duty in Korea and was the recipient of the Purple Heart.

A member of Mars Alliance Church, he was employed by Halstead Industries, the Budget Gourmet and as a courier for Mars National Bank.

He is survived by his wife, Audra Frye Fosbrink; his daughters, Vicki (Gerald) Bohall of Chesterfield, Va., and Micki (David) Fetterhoff of Mars; and a son-in-law, Dan Seel of Shaler Township. He was the grandfather of Jason, Greg, Nicole, Justin, Christopher and Caleb; and great-grandfather of seven. A brother, Charles Fosbrink of Georgia, two sisters, Edith Zarycki of Parma, Ohio, and Faye Johnston of Indian Head, and many nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Fosbrink Seel; a sister, Gladys Evans; and four grandchildren.

<B>FOSBRINK </B>— A memorial service for Clair B. "Jeep"Fosbrink, who died Sunday, April 6, 2008, will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Saturday at Mars Alliance Church with the Rev. Paul Cope, the Rev. David Havener, and the Rev. Gerald Bohall officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations be sent to the Salvation Army or to the Visiting Nurses Association.<B>HERBERT R. KING JR.
