Warren R. Watt
Warren R. Watt, 75, of Freeport died Monday morning while in the company of family members at Alleg-heny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born, Oct. 19, 1930, in Curtisville, he was the son of Richard W. and Myrtle Jackson Watt.
He was a truck driver at Brayman Construction in Saxonburg for 29 years, retiring in 1991.
A member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Freeport, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, birds and his fish pond.
Mr. Warren is survived by his wife of 55 years, Delores Nowakowski Watt; a daughter, Linda King and her husband, Charles, of Jefferson Township; a son Timothy Watt and his wife, Cheryl, of Freeport; and five grandchildren, Heather Shamus Young of Butler, Nick Stewart of Orlando, Fla., James Stewart of Jefferson Township and Caitlin Watt and Kristen Watt, both of Freeport.
Also surviving are a step-grandson, Jared King of Butler; three great-grandchildren, Rachel, Esther and Isaac Young, all of Butler; two brothers, James Watt and his wife, Barb, of Curtisville and Ronald Watt and his wife, Peg, of West Deer Township; and a sister, Barbara Schreir, and her husband, Walt, of Butler.
<B>WATT </B>— Friends of Warren R. Watt, who died Monday, May 15, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at <B>REDMOND FUNERAL HOME</B>, 524 High St., Freeport. A parish wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. A parting prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Freeport, celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Federline. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Freeport.The family requests donations be made to St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 608 High St., Freeport, PA 16229.
