Mary Kozar

Mary Katherine “Kitty” Kozar, 72, of Zelienople, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born July 11, 1948, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Lindsay and Thelma Falen Lindsay.

Kitty enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking. She loved flowers and playing cards.

Above all, Kitty treasured her time with her six grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 48 years, Stephan J. Kozar; her children, Mary (John) McIntyre of Callery, Stephen (Tammy) Kozar of Callery, and Ann (Michael) Glass of Zelienople; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Samantha, Joseph and Emily Kozar, and Jacob and Bella Glass.

KOZAR — Services are private for Mary Katherine “Kitty” Kozar, who died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021.

She will be laid to rest at English Lutheran Church Cemetery in Zelienople.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
